We’re back with a quick review of one of my favorite group’s new single albums, it’s Woo!ah!’s Pit-A-Pat!
The members are gifted a healing trip after the stress of the Penalty Project. All they have to do is decide whether they want to Stop to enjoy their time or Go on more adventures. The members’ personalities are put to the test as they are asked “Stop” or “Go” without knowing what their choice will earn them.
The path of the gourmet is long and lonely. The table is set with much hard work and enjoyed alone….in this case, the hard work is done by the other members and the eating by only one. Three courses of full meals. Three opportunities to eat. Three tough tasks that relate to the meals. Which members will reap the benefits of the gourmet?
Kpop groups size is interesting, non-kpop fans often times see groups like Twice, Izone, or NCT and say “how do you keep track of so many people?” Is that a problem, is a smaller group just more optimal, or are the big groups actually just better despite the intimidation factor they bring to new listeners?
Each of the members brings along a (famous) friend for this Friends’ Special Trip. Jo Hansun (actor), Shinji (singer in Coyote with Jongmin), Lee Sieon (Actor), Jung Seunghwan (Solo Ballad Singer), Ki Dohun (Model and Actor) learn just how difficult a 2 Days, 1 Night trip can be when you’re playing for food and sleeping accommodations.
The final week of the Worst Penalty Project has arrived. A final scramble to avoid the dreaded penalty sticker. The rain may have kept the members from traveling to Gangwon, but they still try to get the feel of Gangwon in the games they play in this last round to see if anyone is exempt and if anyone is confirmed for one of the dreaded penalties.
Choi Yeojin, Ok Jaeyeon, and Jin Seoyeon join Jihyo and Somin to form an all girl team to battle the rest of the members. The teams fight to earn penalty coins and only the winning team can use them to buy penalty stickers to give away to whomever they wish. It’s the second to last week of the Worst Penalty Project and no one is safe in a battle of the sexes.
Week 2 of the 4 week Worst Penalty Race comes with a whopping 7 penalty stickers….all chosen by roulettes. Each member is battling to make their personal roulette less dangerous, but they can’t keep the others from putting them in danger on a different roulette. Can any of the members survive this random draw?
Kpop can be a tricky genre when trying to get people you know to give it a real chance, coming from screamo, this is a feeling I know all too well. That said, in my near two decades of trying to expose people to non-mainstream music genres, I picked up a few tips and tricks along the way.
A new installment in the Running Man Classics series covering episodes 51-60. There is at least one undeniable classic in this set (Tru-Gary Show), but at least two others had stayed firmly in my mind from this set as well. This may be the start of where I think the show really picked up steam. Do you agree?
