My Entertainment Score: 8 out of 10 laughs

One particular game was a total win for me and the concept of the show was pretty fun.

What Happened

Theme: Roulette Race

Opening (start of episode- 6:50)

Race Explanation (6:50- 8:10)

SEVEN penalty stickers are on the line this episode. Each member is provided with a roulette wheel that has 28 slots. At the beginning, each member’s personal board has their own name on it. So, Jongkook’s board has a 28 out of 28 chance of giving him a penalty sticker if he spun it. Over the course of 4 missions, they will be given black slots to cover their own name with someone else’s, depending on their performance. If they do well in the games, they may be able to replace their name with another member’s on every slot of their roulette, so their personal roulette is no risk to them. Of course, the other members could put down their name on a different roulette, so there is a lot of bickering back and forth during the race when a name is written down.

First Mission: Battery Mission (8:10- 12:00)

The staff collected the members’ phones and checked the amount of battery charge they had. The member with the highest percent charge would be able to change 7 slots. The next member would change 6 and so on.

9:20 - Covering slots with other people’s names.

Second Mission: Simon’s Choice Game with the Public (12:00- 47:23)

Each member writes down a response to a prompt. The responses for each prompt were posted in a different busy location for the public to vote on. The best responses earn blank slots for their roulette.

15:13- Bossiest Comment

25:30- Most heart-fluttering Comment

34:10- A minor but heroic personal Story (online poll)

41:57- Voting Results

46:50- Covering slots with other people’s names.

Third Mission: Distance Donut Fishing (47:23- 1:06:17)

I LOVED this game. They got so needlessly and unsuccessfully creative. The action all took place over mats covered in flour. The mats were marked at regular intervals and donuts were dangled over the mats at a distance chosen by the members. The member trying to get a score would choose another member to hold them so that they could lean as far as possible over the mats to try to take a bite out of a donut at the farthest distance. Farthest distance wins….even if the member just jumps and gets a bite on the way down.

1:05:00- Covering slots with other people’s names.

Fourth Mission: Kkokkomi or Hide-And-Seek-Tag (1:06:17- 1:19:52)

Three rounds with a different tagger are played. The tagger runs to a separate place and back rather than counting for the other members to have time to hide. When the tagger gets back, a 3 minute timer starts. In those 3 minutes, the members have to avoid being found and tagged. They can be ‘safe’ if they make it to a flag in that time. Safe members get 3 points. Members that don’t get caught get 0 points. Members that get tagged lose 3 points. The tagger loses points for not catching members and gains points for tagging members.

The taggers, in order, are Seokjin, Jongkook, and Jaesuk.

1:18:06- Covering slots with other people’s names.

Final Results: Roulette Spins (1:19:52- end of episode)

Preview: Three lovely actresses join the members for a boys vs girls episode. Choi Yeojin, Ok Jayeon, and Jin Seoyeon join the ladies team for this fierce competition.
