A Korean fairy tale bonanza ensues! But some of the characters aren’t being honest about their…character. The members try again and again to catch the false character in each tale, while the spy is trying to stay aloof as long as possible for the prize of cold hard cash!

Ever heard the expression “gives the illness and the cure”? This week, the staff epitomized that expression by giving the members a night full of haunted house experiences followed by a day of festival fun…and I couldn’t have loved it more.

This week the members find out if they can remain loyal in the face of both coins and penalties. The coins can take them step by step away from the worst penalties. However, the number of coins is set for the day. Will the winner take all or will they allow coins to pass them by so that all the members can avoid the worst penalties?

It’s been a HOT summer pretty much everywhere. Obviously, the solution to that is a game where they wear padded jackets…heat beats heat, right? The members battle to rid themselves of these undesirable heat-beating solutions on this heat-busting trip.

School trips are an established tradition in Korea. The members relive those glory days in this School Trip Trip…you know what I mean. In true 2 Days 1 Night style, it’s not that simple, though. It’s also a loyalty trip where the members do everything in a preset order. Number 1 could make life miserable for number 5. Time to put their teamwork to the test!

The War of Spoons is a brutal vicious fight. How could it not be when food is on the line and a robot is allowed to read out any message that she receives? Quizzes, drawing, weird noises, insults, love letters…this episode has it all!

For the first time, Running Man visits (invades) Jongkook’s house. The members work together to earn money for Jongkook and charity as a housewarming gift. How will the members fare when they aren’t running and instead playing apartment sized games?

Running Man congratulations SBS on their new building with a special office race where the members learn about the wonder of work-life balance and flexible work hours….in the unfairest way possible.

Running Man heads to Wall Street (in the studio) and begins an illustrious career as stock market traders. This set of episodes is a reprisal of the stock market game played last year with a couple twists.

To support Somin’s newly released film, 2037, the Running Man team takes on a murder mystery game. Which inmate did it? Can they cover their tracks? Guests Kim Jiyoung, Hong Yeji, and Hwang Seokjeong join the hunt this week.

The Take One Away Trip is underway. What is being taken away, you ask? One member at a time, of course. They disappear as the dread men in black take them to special tour courses after they meet the right conditions for it. Can they all gather in time to have a special feast? Will they ever be able to relax again?

Eunwoo, Moonbin, and Sanha of Astro join the cast for a war of the roses game. It’s a battle between the older members, with their queen Jihyo, and the younger members, with their queen Somin. Can hearts be captured as roses change hands?

1st Division-Find the luckiest member race. The staff votes on a winner in each round which has a luck element. The staff that last until the end get a prize along with the winner. Concentration, physicality, quick wits, luck…and elan for balloon popping are all tested this week!

The men head out on a race to prove their filial natures in a battle between the good sons and the bad sons over the prospect of dinner. Now well fed, the men do a special princess relay in honor of family day and the area they are visiting (which translates to princess). Finally they face the hardest verse of their lives. Good luck, gentlemen! Family isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.

We all know the members have their rivalries. They bicker and banter. This week, they battle it out to resolve their differences once and for all. Guests Yuri and Hyoyeon of SNSD and the Judo twins, Cho Junho and Junhyn, join the cast with their own battles. The elder of each rivalry joins team A in a battle of pride! (...I mean, kinda. This is Running Man, after all)

This was the last trip with the beloved Bang Geulyi PD and Ravi, so the trip was meant as a well-wishing for both the members and the PD. Luck games and extra snacks abound. All the while a dreaded chain letter is making the rounds among the members…the member with the letter at the end faces a night sleeping outdoors without a tent and no breakfast! A touching twist had everyone, me included, shedding tears. Best wishes to Ravi and Bang PD as they move on to new horizons!
