I really enjoyed the actual games that were played for this one. The guests did a good job as well.

What Happened:

Theme: Card Sharks Paradise, Caramel Vegas

Opening/Guest Introductions (start of episode- 6:32)

Race Explanation (6:32- 7:29)

Haha is the current chairman of the Caramel Gambling Association (from the previous rendition of this game). He gets to set teams and once per game, he can set his own rule.

If the members are displeased with the chairperson at any point, they can pay caramels to create a new ‘vote’ for a chairman. 20 caramels need to be submitted by any number of members. Only members that have submitted candies are included in the random draw for a new chairman.

As always, the members can take out a ‘loan’ from the staff. There is no need for collateral this time, but loans need to be repaid by the end.

Seed Money Game: Pop Up Pirate (7:29- 22:53)

The members play the pop-up pirate game. Each color sword is worth a different amount of caramel and each successful sword used accrues caramel in a box above the heads of the members. (Note: I have no idea why you wouldn’t use the swords worth the most caramel every time…but they used the lower value swords sometimes. Anyone have an idea why?) When the pirate pops up, the member that used the sword is eliminated. After 2 members are eliminated, the caramel drops for the rest of the members to scramble over. There is a second round where only one member is eliminated to give everyone a chance to get caramels.

First Mission: Card Shark, The Golden Hunch (22:53- 55:04)

For this game, the two teams will take turns playing on offense and defense. The defense team gets 4 boxes to set up. The boxes need to be labeled with +30, +1, -1, and -30. Then the offense team gets to ask questions about the boxes. The answers may be vague, but must not be outright lies. Finally, the offense team will choose one box and may either keep the box or give in to the offense team. There are 4 rounds. After the first round, there are twists, such as needing to drink the cup that goes with a box.

Teams:

V Team: Jaesuk, Jongkook, Sechan

Seungho Team: Seokjin, Haha, Jihyo

Second Mission: Free Gambling (55:04- 1:17:14)

Until lunch, the members are able to choose 2 games to play to earn more caramel. One is a roulette which is seriously stacked against anyone that plays it. Almost every space is x0. To play, the members must bet an amount of caramels. The second game is to pop water balloons that get rolled down tubes using a rubber hammer. Each round has 10 balloons. Members must also bet caramels to play this game. Popping at least 4 balloons will double the bet. Popping at least 8 balloons is x5 the bet.

Some members are ‘dragged out’ for a time out if they are ‘excessively gambling’.

Lunch - 1:06:47. There is a funny incident during lunch where Jaesuk sells his dream from the previous night to Seokjin.

Third Mission: Caramel Red Light, Green Light (1:17:14- 1:30:15 of episode 682)

One member (chosen by the current chairman) is the tagger. The other members must move around gathering caramels in the area. They can also find a “Stop” sign and use that to end the collections for themselves, but remain safe. The tagger can take two one-footed hops to get closer to the members after each round of green-light-red-light. Then, using a water gun, he can oust members. Those members do not get to keep the caramels they collected. At the end of the round, the tagger gets to keep caramels collected by the ousted member that had collected the most.

There are three members. The first tagger is V. The second tagger is Seokjin. The third tagger is Seungho.

Final Card Game (1:30:15 of episode 682- 38:23 of episode 683)

Before the game, anyone that had taken out a loan needed to pay it back or have some penalty make-up put on. During the game, loans could still be taken in exchange for penalty makeup or silly wigs.

The current chairman chose the 5 members to start the game. When a member busts out, one of the remaining members takes a place at the table. Seokjin, Jongkook, Haha, Jihyo, and Sechan are the starting players. Gameplay doesn’t begin until the start of episode 683.

Each member has cards from 1 to 10 in both blue and red cards (20 cards total). One card is chosen from each color. The blue card is placed on the forehead for everyone else to see. The red card is for the members to look at themselves. Bets are placed and the member with the highest total wins the round.

The last man standing gets a gold card.

The first and second round are +1 and -1 to V’s team. The third round is +30 to V’s team. The final round is +1 to Seungho’s team.
