These trips just don’t work for me on Running Man. Please, please, please go back to playing games!

What Happened:

Theme: Jihyo’s Detox Tour

Trip Planning Meeting With the Staff (start of episode- 4:22)

Jihyo comes in separately to plan her trip with the staff. She announces that her trip will be all about rest, relaxation, and detoxing from the rush of the modern world and technology.

Opening/Trip Explanation (4:22- 11:44)

There is a mandatory schedule. Things like a detox the body meal with only vegetables and rice, or a detox the mind where they must be still and quiet. The members simply have to follow the schedule.

Except! Jihyo has a notebook where she can write down all the good and bad things that the members do (according to her personal opinions). At the end of the day, the members in her book will get extra running balls or have balls removed. Each member (minus Jihyo) automatically begins with 5 balls. At the end of the trip, Jihyo will draw to decide who will be in charge of the next Running Tour Project.

*Note: All the costs of this trip are deducted from the total $4,100 that the members must split to finish all seven trips.*

First Schedule: Brain Detox (11:44- 36:46)

*The members pay for a boat ride to the location and for accommodation.* Bisugumi is an island village that is quite remote and in touch with nature. I WANT TO GO HERE!!

After arriving, the members turn in their phones and receive a walkie talkie in exchange.

Brain Detox - 24:00. Also known as nap time. Meditation music is provided by the staff.

32:40 - A sales cart arrives outside the building to sell things that the members may need out in the wilderness.

Second Schedule: Body Detox (36:46- 1:02:15)

Jihyo picks the three people who were the worst during the brain detox to go get wild vegetable dishes as carryout, because obviously no one delivers out in the wilderness. Those members received their phones during the trip.

The members that remain behind can earn a benefit! Each is given a polaroid camera. The member that brings back the most pictures of plants or animals (and is able to name them) gets a benefit.

Third Schedule: Stress Detox (1:02:15- 1:29:14)

The members travel to the next island over where they sit by a cool stream and enjoy a watermelon.

They played a quick game splashing in the water and then had time to do a nature sketch.

1:18:03 - Sketch analysis by an expert. The members were ranked based on how ‘detoxed’ they were based on a psychological analysis of their drawings. They received running balls based on their ranking.

Final Results (1:29:14- end of episode)

The cost of the trip is revealed and the next member to plan a trip is chosen. The members also rate the trip.

Preview: Dex (Youtuber), Lee Sehee (actress), and Han Jieun (actress) join the cast next week for a couple race. Hopefully its less disastrous than the preview made it look.
