What Happened:

Theme: Somin’s Special

Opening/Guest Introductions (1:01:08 of episode 654- 1:11:05)

Team Formation (1:11:05 of episode 654- 2:27 of episode 655)

Because Somin has been blocked by the male members from teaming up with any handsome guests lately, the staff prepared a race for her. Before starting, there is a game to form teams. The two male guests answered questions before the opening. The answers will be shown. All the members have to choose a preferred answer. The guest that Somin matches the most will become her teammate. For the remaining members, the members that match Somin the most will join her team.

Race Explanation (2:27 of episode 655 - 10:15)

Blank Running Balls will be earned throughout the day. The members can write on the balls one of three things: the name of a guest, the name of a member, or a menu to eat. Then they will place the balls in one of the three labeled boxes. At the end of the day, Somin will draw a ball from each box to determine the member and guest that she will eat with and the menu they will have. This is the prize. The penalty is to go home, obviously regretting the missed time with Somin.

Everyone on Somin’s team gets 2 balls to start. They fill them out immediately. (4:38) I’ll include the travel time here as well. (6:50)

First Mission: Commanding In Silence (10:15- 23:12)

The members of a team will stand in a line with headphones blaring. The first member receives an instruction and must pass it on with only the shape of their mouth. The final member must follow the instruction, instead of guessing what was said. Some of the misunderstandings in this game were absolutely hilarious. I LOVE this game!

21:00 - Members fill out the balls they earned. The winning team earned 3 each and the losing team earned 1 each.

Second Team Selection (23:12- 30:10)

Everyone except Somin sits behind a wall of doors, one person per door. Somin opens three doors with members and one door with a guest to make the second set of teams.

Second Mission: Header Table Tennis (30:10- 47:40)

Somin has been relegated to the role of referee for all the recent foot volleyball and table tennis games in the show. To fulfill her wish of playing, she is required to play all the time. The rules of table tennis are much the same and the game is played on a table tennis table, but a volleyball is used and the only acceptable way to hit the ball is to head it. The game is played to 31.

Third Team Selection (47:40- 53:04)

Each member got into a car. Somin picked her favorite cars to determine her teammates.

Third Mission: Name Tag Ripping!! (53:04- 1:21:48)

Each member had 3 lives, but each time a name tag was removed, that person’s name would be added to the appropriate box. The members didn’t find out until the end of the game, but as a “bonus” for removing Somin’s name, the “reward” was to have an extra ball added with the name of the person that removed her tag. Each time a name tag was removed, the replacement was larger until a member was completely out.

Blank balls were hidden throughout the location. Members that found those could choose either to write on them and submit them OR to turn in 3 to buy a reflection ticket. (If you don’t remember, a reflection ticket makes the person that rips a name tag lose a life instead of the person that lost their name tag.)

The game was played for 30 minutes and the team with more survivors wins.
