Running Man Episode 650 Review
Guests: None
My Entertainment Score: 4 out of 10 laughs
With only one low tempo game and a lot of talking or behind the scenes rehearsal footage, this episode wasn’t among my favorites personally. If you enjoy behind the scenes stuff, this is a good one for you.
What Happened:
Theme: Fighting Fan Meet ooor Philippines Fan Meet
Opening (start of episode- 10:30)
This was all conducted at the airport and introduced the purpose of the episode.
Travel Footage - 8:45
Breakfast Mission: Minigame Relay (10:30- 45:35)
Beginning with Jaesuk, a relay game is played to win 5 breakfast dishes. For each failure, one dish will be removed, so they essentially have 5 attempts to get breakfast of some kind. There are also 3 local favorites that are all-or-nothing. If they complete the missions, they get the dishes. As soon as they lose all the 5 main dishes, the local foods will also be removed.
There is no time limit on the relay, so it was played in a relaxed manner. Jaesuk had to choose one of 3 games to play: Times table in English (must get 3 out of 5 answers right), Filipino jjegichegi (10 kicks for a man, 3 for a woman), or a chair pull up. The chair challenge begins with the person laying, head under the chair, and then back rolling up until they are seated on the chair. It looks incredibly hard.
If he succeeds, he chooses the game for the next player and the room keycard, then goes to wake that person up and play the game. The only rule to remember is that no game can be played twice in a row. When any person fails a mission, they must begin again from Jaesuk, but they can choose the missions fresh as well.
Breakfast - 38:30
Rehearsal (45:35- 59:10)
Fan Meeting (59:10- end of episode)
